They have put together a list of their favourite venues, for they understand how difficult it can be to choose from the multitude of venues across the city of Norwich.

The Blueberry Music House

The Blueberry Music House has been a staple on Norwich’s music scene for decades now. However with new management, the venue has found a new lease of life. It may have been renowned as the place to come in Norwich to hear the best rock bands that Norwich has to offer, but these days The Blueberry Music House caters to all genres, so you will find something to suit your vocal interests. This is an especially great venue to catch up-and-coming Norwich talent, and with a capacity of 200 it finds the balance between cosy and buzzing. With bands playing Thursday-Sunday, and guests from the US and Europe playing the rest of the week, there is always something to hear at The Blueberry Music House. They are always open to hear from new Norwich talent, so after a few lessons with us at Singing Lessons Norwich, you could find yourself gracing the stage! The Brickmakers

The Brickmakers is a lively venue in the centre of Norwich, offering something for everyone. From a great night out on Fridays or Saturdays, to a mellow Sunday with an acoustic afternoon, the Brickmakers is a place where all genres collide. They put on several open mic nights every week, giving the local talent of Norwich a chance to showcase their talent, so if you’re feeling brave, why not head down and showcase your own singing! For those who may not have built up the courage to show their singing talent yet, they also do a weekly music quiz. The Brickmakers may just appear to be a standard pub, but beyond its doors is one of the best live music venues that Norwich has to offer. It offers a cosy and intimate performance, where you can get up close and personal with some of Norwich’s best singers. The Brickmakers is based on Sprowston Road, NR3 4DY.

B2 Venue

B2 Venue is the place to go in Norwich for everything alternative, so for those looking for a more unique music experience, there is no finer venue in Norwich. The venue is not limited to any genres, so you can find everything from metal to folk, so make sure you keep an eye on their events list. With live music Tuesday-Saturday, there will always be something worth seeing so make sure you head down to B2 regardless of the day! The venue is run by the same people as the Brickmakers, and the success of both these venues in Norwich is testament to the great night you will have if you come to see live music here. Norwich Chamber Music

Norwich Chamber Music is not a venue per se, but if advertises a lot of concerts in and around Norwich at some more alternative venues. This includes the Main Series Concerts at the John Innes Centre, NR4 7UH, and The Chapel Concerts on Park Lane, NR2 3EF. Norwich Chamber Music promote several classical concerts in and around Norwich every year, so is a great place to keep up-to-date with the classical music scene. Having been founded in 1951, the club has put on many successful concerts over the years, so you can guarantee that you will have a top evening at the many events they put on. So for those interested in exploring more classical vocals, the Norwich Chamber Music events are definitely ones for the diary!
